HELLENiQ Renewables

We remain firmly focused on developing an extensive portfolio of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) projects. Our target is to exceed 1 GW of installed capacity by 2026 and reach over 2 GW by 2030.

We place particular emphasis on expanding our presence across new technologies, markets and geographies, while actively contributing to the improvement of our environmental footprint through the offsetting of greenhouse gas emissions.

In parallel, we continue to explore investment opportunities in self-generation and self-consumption projects at our Group's installations connected to low and medium-voltage networks.

Our Journey

Foundation & First Projects
  • Establishment of HELLENiQ Renewables as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group, marking its entry into the Renewable Energy sector.
  • Development of the first photovoltaic and wind projects, with a focus on gradually expanding the Group’s RES portfolio.

Safety, Performance & Technical Asset Management

We adhere to Group-wide Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures during both the construction and operation phases of our projects. A designated HSE engineer oversees compliance, licensing, and all related supervisory responsibilities.

We carry out real-time corrective interventions to ensure the uninterrupted operation of each facility.

We implement systematic maintenance and repairs, aiming to continuously optimize the performance and reliability of our assets.

We manage operational data efficiently to support accurate and informed decision-making.

Energy with perspective

The HELLENiQ Renewables development portfolio includes RES and Energy Storage projects with a total capacity exceeding 6 GW, currently at various stages of development and permitting maturity. Geographically, the portfolio extends across Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria, countries where HELLENiQ Renewables operates.

Projects in Development

As part of our strategy for clean energy and sustainable growth, we implement projects that strengthen our energy footprint and our position in the markets where we operate. Each project represents a further step towards a more resilient and sustainable energy future.

In this context, we are implementing investments in the Municipality of Kordelio - Evosmos and in Florina for the development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The investment comprises five projects selected under the first competitive bidding process for electricity storage support.
